Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – Private Transfer
Upon your arrival at the Cusco airport, our friendly team will be waiting to welcome you and escort you to your hotel in the historic center. Take the day to rest and acclimate to the altitude. Enjoy a hot coca tea and explore the charming San Blas neighborhood or simply relax before your adventure begins.
Day 2: Super Sacred Valley Tour + Train to Aguas Calientes
Begin your journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas with a visit to the Chinchero Textile Center, where local women demonstrate traditional weaving techniques. Continue to Moray, a mysterious site of circular terraces used for agricultural experiments.
Next, marvel at the Maras Salt Mines, a stunning landscape of salt evaporation ponds still used today. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba before visiting the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, with its ancient terraces and living Inca village.
In the late afternoon, board a scenic train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and rest for the big day ahead.
Day 3: Machu Picchu Guided Tour – Return to Cusco
Rise early for breakfast and board the shuttle bus to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Explore the citadel with your expert guide, who will unveil the history behind landmarks like the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, and the Royal Quarters.
You’ll also have time to roam freely or opt for one of the optional hikes: Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (advance reservation required).
After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes, board your train to Ollantaytambo, and take a private vehicle back to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 4: Rainbow Mountain Full-Day Adventure
Today’s early morning departure (around 4:00 AM) takes you on an epic drive through the Andean highlands to the trailhead. After breakfast en route, begin a scenic 3-hour hike to Vinicunca – Rainbow Mountain, known for its surreal, colorful stripes.
From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Ausangate Glacier, red valleys, and herds of alpacas. After time for photos and rest, descend and enjoy a well-earned lunch before returning to Cusco in the afternoon.
Day 5: Departure – Transfer to Cusco Airport
Enjoy your final breakfast in Cusco before your private transfer to the airport. Carry with you the memories of majestic mountains, ancient temples, and Andean hospitality.
