The tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. After meeting your guide, we set off in a comfortable vehicle towards the Sacred Valley. As we drive, your guide will share fascinating insights about the area’s history, culture, and geography.
Our first stop is Moray, an extraordinary archaeological site believed to have been an agricultural laboratory during the Inca Empire. The circular terraces, which descend into the earth like a giant amphitheater, are thought to have been used to experiment with crops and create microclimates. Your guide will explain the advanced agricultural techniques of the Incas and their significance in sustaining the empire. Take your time to explore and marvel at this engineering wonder.

The tour continues to the stunning Salineras de Maras, a vast network of over 3,000 salt evaporation ponds cascading down a hillside. Your guide will explain the history and process behind the salt extraction, and you’ll have the opportunity to purchase high-quality salt and other artisanal products directly from the local producers.
