Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – Welcome & Acclimatization

Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the historic center. Enjoy a refreshing coca tea, a traditional remedy to help with altitude adjustment (3,400 m.a.s.l).

The rest of the day is free to rest or explore at your own pace. We suggest visiting the Plaza de Armas, the artistic San Blas neighborhood, or simply relaxing before the adventure begins.

Day 2: Cusco City Tour + Sacred Valley – First Encounter with the Andes

After breakfast, begin your guided visit to Cusco’s most iconic archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán with its colossal stones, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, the Inca water temple.

From the Taray Viewpoint, take in panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. Continue to the colorful town of Pisac, known for its artisan market. In the afternoon, head to your hotel in the Sacred Valley and spend the night surrounded by nature.

Day 3: Deep Sacred Valley – Chinchero, Moray & Maras Salt Mines

Today, we dive deeper into the Sacred Valley. Start in Chinchero, where you’ll witness a traditional textile demonstration and visit a colonial-era church. Next, explore the ancient agricultural terraces of Moray, followed by the stunning Maras Salt Mines.

Enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, sampling Andean flavors before heading back to your hotel for a restful evening.

Day 4: Ollantaytambo Fortress & Train to Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, visit the living Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Discover its impressive fortress, religious temples, and agricultural terraces.

In the afternoon, board the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes, traveling along the scenic Urubamba River. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 5: Machu Picchu Guided Visit & Return to Cusco

Rise early and take the bus to the majestic Machu Picchu. Your expert guide will lead a 2.5-hour tour through its temples, terraces, and ceremonial areas.

Optional: Add the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain hike for breathtaking views (advance booking required).

After exploring the citadel, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, take the train back to Ollantaytambo and a private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 6: Transfer to Airport – End of Journey

After breakfast, our team will transfer you to the airport in Cusco at the scheduled time. End of our services and your unforgettable Andean adventure.
