Itinerary: Half-Day City Tour of Cusco
After pick-up from your hotel, we begin by visiting the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), once the most sacred Inca temple and later transformed by the Spanish into the Santo Domingo convent.
Next, we head to the outskirts of the city to explore four iconic archaeological sites:
- Sacsayhuamán – A breathtaking fortress with massive stone walls and panoramic views over Cusco.
- Qenqo – A ceremonial center carved into rock, used for rituals and sacrifices.
- Puka Pukara – A red-toned military post that once protected the entrance to Cusco.
- Tambomachay – A peaceful complex of aqueducts and fountains believed to be a site of water worship.
Optionally, you may also visit the majestic Cusco Cathedral in the main square at the beginning or end of the tour (entrance ticket not included).

- The balance must be paid at least 5 days before the tour
- Passport photos are required at the time of booking
- No free cancellation once booking is confirmed
